Boarding Rates
per bird
finches : $5 per cage.
canaries, lovebirds, budgies, Bourke’s, etc. : $10 per bird.
cockatiels : $12 per bird.
conures, ringnecks, barrabands, etc. : $15 per bird.
lories : $17 per bird.
Large Birds such as cockatoos, macaws, eclectus, etc. : special pricing by arrangement starting at $20 per bird.
Prices include:
Twice daily feedings that will include pellets, seed mix, fresh fruit and veg., cooked grains, sprouts and birdie muffins.
Fresh water (bottled water available at 50c extra per day)
Twice daily housekeeping which will include fresh cage lining and clean perches.
Fresh bathing bowl or daily misting.
We want your bird to get whatever they get at home. We understand that some birds have special feeding instructions which we will try to accommodate but if their food is hard to obtain then you must bring it with you along with feeding instructions.
Supervised 'out of cage' times are available for birds used to 'free time'.
If your bird is handicapped or elderly and needs special care or accommodations please let us know ahead of time so we can have things ready.
We try to cater to each individual bird's personality to make sure they have the best time possible while staying with us and as space is limited bookings are essential.
At night all cages are covered to allow for a good night's sleep. If you have a bird that gets night frights then let us know and we can provide a night light. Please don't forget to bring your birds favourite toys
If your bird cannot be transported with it's own cage a selection of cages are available for hire at a flat rate of $25 per booking. Prior bookings for cages are essential.
In home bird minding is available in some circumstances.
